Challenge!
==========
K: Are you ready, Carolyn, five times in one breath?
C: Well, I guess so.
K: Okay.
J: Because she IS a dog person.
C: I am.
K: Oh, you are?
C: Yeah, I am. I hope your dogs aren't gonna (going to) listen to this, Jeff. They'll be very sad.
J: Yes, they will.
C: I'll give it a shot.
K: All right.

K: Thank you for lying five times.
J: Very convincing.

J: All right!
C: Nice.
All: You did it.

==========
Write It!
==========
◆ 思っています
J: Yeah, I think we've discussed this before. The i-n-g is "thinking" is not a good way to say it in English. So, we're just going to use the word "thinks."

◆ ダンはそう思ってはいません
C: Yeah, I think so. I think come up two suggestions, two ways we can write this to express that Dan doesn't believe something is possible.
C: Oh, let's not use that. Let's go with the verb "think" again.
K: Uh-huh.
C: Um... So, the first way, I would recommend writing "Dan doesn't think so."
C: But here's another verb we can use. We can also use "doubt." And in this case, it'll be "Don doubts it."

                      • -

C: Oh, yeah.
J: I'm sure they did.
C: They always do.
K: Oh, okay, if you think so.
J: Way to go!

Before We Move On!
=====================
K: Carolyn, Jeff, are you a dog person or a cat person?
J: Ohh...
C: Ohh....
K: Carolyn?
C: Well, I used to have a preference but these days, to tell you the truth, I'm a both person. I'm a .... I'm trying to think … I'm a dog-cat person.
K: Oh, I see.
J: Well, I do too.
K: Oh, you do? You are!
J: But... um... I think I'm a little more dog person, maybe.
C: I wonder why.
J: I have two of them, a big one and a little one.
K: Oh, you have two dogs.
J: I have two dogs. Yes.

C: What about you, Ken? Are you a dog person or a cat person?
K: Well, you know, as a kid I used to be a dog person, Lulu and Taro. They were really sweet to me. But later, in my life, I became a cat person.
CJ: Oh!
K: I took care of a lot of cats.
J: Oh.
C: Oh, that's nice.
K: And rather they took great care of me.
C: Hmm...
J: Ah, yes.
K: I love them.
