All: What do you think, everybody?

K: What do you think, Jeff?
J: Well, I think they are red and green and flashing.
K: What do YOU think, Carolyn?
C: I think I agree with Jeff. They are red and green and flashing.
K: Great.

J: Congratulations!
C: You did it.

C: Yeah, I think so. There's a pattern I recommend using here. And it's "see something doing something."
C: So, in this case, it would be "sees some strange lights moving in the sky."

J: Yes. This wasn't in the dialog. So, actually there's a couple ways we can say this.
K: Okay.
J: One would be, "They get scared."
J: Yes. And there's another way, "They get frightened."

C: Oh, yeah.
J: I'm sure they did.
C: Nice job.
K: All right.
J: Way to go!

K: That's a long name in Japanese.
J: Yes.
C: So is the original English original name, which is Unidentified Flying Object.

J: Right. So, it's U-F-O for short. And some places pronounce it "UFO (ユーフォー)."
K: In Britain, they do that too.
J: Oh, they do?
K: Yeah.
J: Oh, I didn't know that.
C: That's interesting. And did you know, UFO sightings have been reported through history.

K: Okay. How about this one, USO? USO sightings have been reported too.
C: USO, that's short for Unidentified Submerged Object.

(Unidentified Submerged Object

J: Uso(うそ)
J: In America, there are Elvis sightings.
K: Since the death of Elvis Presley.
J: Right.
K: The king of Rock 'n' roll.

C: Yeah, there have been reports that he was sighted at a gas station, diner, airport and so on.

J: This shows his everlasting popularity, but personally, I'm more into "Itsudemo" sightings.
K: Oh, me too.
C: Me three.

K: Jeff, are you ready?
J: Yes. Um... will I be a hero if I finish?
K: Yeah, yeah, you'll be a great hero.
C: Always.
J: All right. Let's try it then.

J: I'm a real hero.
C: You are!

All: You are all real heros.

K: OK, back to the question.
J: Right. Does the man have any particular features?

All: What do you think, everybody?
K: Carolyn, what do you think?
C: Well, she did say he has big hands, but that doesn't really mean much. So, I would say, "No, he has no particular features.
K: Oh, okay.

K: Big hands, right. But that's not um... particularly uh....
J: Noticeable?
K: Yeah, noticeable.
J: Yeah.
C: Yeah, it's not. So many people have big hands.
J: That's right. I have big hands.

K: Not any particular features.

K: Big hand

C: Nice work.
J: You did it.

J: Yes. So, in English, the word order is a little bit different as you said, we'll start with "a man."
K: Uh-huh.
J: And it would be "a man who saved a woman from an accident."

C: Oh, I like that, "find."
K: Oh, good.
C: That sounds good. Well, we know this wasn't in the dialog. So, um... if we want use "find" here, I'd recommend using the phrase "try to find out."
So, in this case, it would be "is trying to find out about 何々."

J:Right. That was in the dialog.
J: Right, the man that we've been talking about.
K: Right.
J: Um... we're going to use the verb "have" or past tense "had." So, it would be "the man had no particular features."

C: Oh, yeah.
J: Of course, they did.
K: Oh, yay!
J: Way to go.

K: Now. Here's a quiz. We are going to try to describe a person everybody. So guess who it is. Here we go.

J: She was medium height and medium build.
C: She was a petite beauty and she aged well.
K: She lived to be 96.
J: She had a great sense of humor.
C: She was from England.
J: And reigned the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms for 70 years.
C: Now. Who is it?
K: Now the drumroll?

C: It's Queen Elizabeth.
J: Is it the first or the second?
C: Once again, the right answer is ...
All: Queen Elizabeth the Second. May she rest in peace.

(May she rest in peace.
