K: Are you ready, Julia, for five times in one breath?
Y: I think I am.
K: All right. Let's hear it.
Y: Here goes.

Y: I thought I was ready, maybe not.
K: I think you did it.
Y: Barely.

Y: Good job!
All: You're really improving.

K:Well, let's hear what Jeff has to say.
J: Well, My answer No. 1, "Because the wedding package is nonrefundable."
I don't think anyone would be excited about that.
Y: Not me, for sure.
K: Me, either.
J: So, I don't think this is a possibility.
K: OK.
J: I'll turn it over to Julia.

Y: Okay. Uh... my answer No. 2, "Because Susan loves Walker."
Well, yeah. Uh... Walker would be happy, but I don't know about both men regarding it.
K: Uh-huh.
Y: What's your answer like, Ken?

K: Well, my answer, No. 3, "Because the wedding is on."
Well, you know, uh, she loves him and then she is ready to wed.

(wed 結婚する)

J: Uh-huh.
Y: Uh-huh.

K: Well, those two things are wonderful.
J: Yeah... put together.
K: Yeah
Y: Yeah.
K: And if she's not going to wed... well, that will be a problem.
J: Yes.
K: So, I think No. 3 is the best candidate for the right answer.
J: I think so too.
Y: And I think, yeah, Jack would be happy because he can sell his package tour. Right?
K: Right.
J: Right.
K: So...
YJ: The correct answer is ...
K: No. 3, "because the wedding is on."

J: Good job!
Y: Congratulations!
J: Well done.

◆ 出発の2日前になって
J: Right. As it was in the title, "two days before the departure."
K: Okay.
J: And we can add the word "only." And if you add "only" as in "only two days before the departure," it adds some suspense. It adds some impact.

◆ スーザンは……をためらいます
Y: Right. It's in the dialogue. Susan has reservations about the wedding. Yeah, it comes in the dialog. You reserved like hold back your feelings and so she's not really feeling positive about the whole thing. So she has reservations about something.

◆ 最後に
J: There are probably many ways to say this, at least several, but two of them come to mind. The first one would be "finally 何々."
K: Okay.
J: And the other way is "in the end 何々."

◆ 二人は仲直りとなります
Y: We can use the idiom "make up" for that. And I'm not talking about makeup that you put on your face.
K: Uh!
Y: And opposite expression of "make up," we have "break up." Yeah.

J: I'm sure they did.
Y: Oh, yes!
J: They always do.
Y: I'm positive.
J: Good job!
K: Good!

This time Susan joines the conversation and very dramatic presentation it's going to be.

J: Walker. All packed and ready to go?
W: I wish. Susan is having reservations about the wedding. We're not on speaking terms now.

J: Oh, no. Unfortunately, the wedding package is nonrefundable.

W: Speak of jumping out of the frying pan...

(out of the frying pan into the fire 一難去ってまた一難の事態で、踏んだり蹴ったりで)

J: Ohhh...

W: Excuse me, I need to take this call.
What's up?

S: Honey, are you at Jack's office?
W: Uh-huh.

W: I love you too.
S: Bye!
