★ 傘を持たずに出ました 「傘を持って出る」はtake an umbrella? bring an umbrella?
Yeah, Ken. It's a real tricky one actually. Because it depends on your point of view.
So if your point of view is at home, or you're thinking about being back at home, you would "take an umbrella."
On the other hand, if you've already left your home and you are at your destination like the station or the office, so your point of view is that you are not at home, you would use "bring," "bring an umbrella."
★ 太陽が出てこようとしていたので、傘を持って出なかった、どちらを先にしますか？
Actually, either one are fine. You use it at the beginning, "We didn't take an umbrella this morning because the sun was trying to come out. Or you can say, "Because the sun was trying to come out, we didn't take an umbrella this morning." But it's a little more conversational if you use the because clause second.

Well, there are two way of saying it. You can either say, "hiking" or "a hike."
★ 予想が出たからです becauseを使ってひとつの文にまとめてしまうか、それとも最後に別の文としてbecauseを使わずに持ってくるのか?
