Welcome to Radio Eikaiwa!
Hi! How are you doing? I'm Ken Toyama. Here with me today are Katie Adler.
Hello there. It's nice to have you here.
And Jeff Manning.
Hi! It’s great to be working with you.
So are you ready?
I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
I'm ready when you are.
Okie Dokie. Let's get the ball rolling.
Here we go!

                                                                                                                                • -

Mom gave Grandma's wedding ring to Tiffany.
What!? That was supposed to be passed down to me.
Yes, you have told me, and that's not all. Dad gave her the grandfather
clock.
Oh, they've always favored her.
I think it's because she's the baby of the family.
You're right. I shouldn't hold it against her.
Me, either. She's our own flesh and blood after all.

And we are black sheep of the family.
Baa, baa, black sheep. Have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir. Three bags full.
One for Tiffany and another one for her too.
And the other for the baby sister of the family.

Baa, baa, black sheep. Have you any wool? Ugh....

                                  • -

Tiffany better be careful. They sound angry.
Yeah, they do.

Well, you know, I have a problem. I am supposed to end the show now.
Oh....
End this program.
Uh-huh.
And I have to ...
We won't hold it against you?
No.
No?
No! We'd like to keep going but if that's what you are supposed to do...
then ...
Yeah.
I was supposed to do and I am going to do this.
Okay.

                          • -

Well, that's about it for today so until next time.
Keep listening.
Keep practicing.
And Keep on smiling.

Claire, Zack is being a brat.
Zack is being a what?
A brat. I'm trying to watch TV, and he keeps turning it off.
Zach, be good.
No!
I'm going to tell on him when Mom and Dad come home.
Don't be a tattletale, Ed.
But he's bugging me.
Let's go outside and collect some nectar. Buzz, buzz... Zach, you come too.

No! I'm too busy, busy. (buzzy, buzzy)
Oh, no.
Oh, yes. Oh, yes.

If that new situation happened in a movie....
Right.
How would you rate that movie?

Oh, A+ (plus)
I thought you were going to say B (bee) movie.
Oh, no.

Wow! Thank you, you two.
You are so welcome.

It sounds a little strange, but I think it'll work.

Oh... That's quite a habit.
Are they going to kick the habit? I don't know.
I think they probably could easily if they worked on it.
They seem to enjoy it though.

Speaking of kicking the habits...
Uh-huh.
Do you have any habit that you would like to kick?
(have の音はよく聴こえてきませんが、よ〜く聴くと ve の音が聴こえます。Do
you've といったような感じかな?)

Hmm...
I do. I have a very bad habit of going to bed late.
How late is late?
Well, sometimes two in the morning.
Two in the morning?
Yeah.
Gosh!

How about you two?

I've got too many bad habits I can't name just one.
Wow!
You've got to kick them one by one.

Too many.
So, Ken, how about you?

I can't help wearing a pin on my lapel.
That seems like a nice habit though.
Yeah, it's supposed to be a fish hook.
Yeah. Is there a meaning to that?
When I do a performance or give a lecture, this helps me hook the audience.
Oh!
Win them over.
Wow! A happy hook.
Yes, it works?

Let's hope so.
Let's hope everything falls into place.

What a musical.
Wow!
What can we say about that?
The big finish.
Very big. By the way...
Yes?
A friend of mine told me that he listens to Radio Eikaiwa every day, every
single day.
I would hope so.
