大西光太郎 ← なぜ光太郎さんがでてきたのでしょう?
高村光太郎」の智恵子抄をもじって 「智恵子は東京に空がないと言う。クリスは、オックスフォードにサルはない」

(0:23)
R: Hey, everyone, Akino Roza here. Let's have another great lesson.
C: Chris McVay here. As always, we're gonna try and make the lesson as exciting and fun as possible.

(5:15)
R: Hey, have you checked out our textbook yet? If not, you should. And don't worry, it won't escape from your house.

(9:42)
C: Okay, guys, are you ready to practice? This time, the key sentence is really simple. "What made you scream?"

What do we want to emphasize here? The simple fact that if you want to know something about the subject, you put the "w-h word" in the subject position.

"... made you scream?" Let's put the w-h word there at the beginning. "... made you scream?" Are you ready? Let's try.

"What made you scream?" Go.

(10:15)
Once more. Again, we put it in the first position, the subject position. That's all you need to know. "What made you scream?" Once more, please.

(13:05)
You're so good. Well done, guys.

(14:43)
O: What made you scream?
C: I didn’t scream.
O: What made you scream?
C: I told you I didn’t scream.
O: I’m just practicing.
C: What made you scream?
R: Onishi-sensei’s practicing.

C: Hi, guys, Chris McVay here. You know, it’s always a pleasure to be here in the studio recording for you guys. Roza, do you think we’ll have another good lesson today?
R: That’s a tough question. We have so many good lessons already.
C: That’s true.
R: Hey, everyone. Roza Akino here.

(4:31)
C: Hey, listeners, out of curiosity, do you get goosebumps when you read our textbook? I hope so. Keep enjoying it.
R: It's my favorite too.

(14:06)
R: Hey, Chris, what song do you like the most?
C: My goodness. That’s a difficult question, isn’t it? If I have to choose one, let me say… Eldon Jon’s “Your Song.”
O: Ah! Good choice. So famous, isn’t it?
R: What about you, Seinsei?
O: Me? As usual, Hamutaro です。How about you, Roza?
R: Hmm… ラジオ英会話の曲かなぁ~。
O: Oh, good answer.

R: That was certainly the most interesting opening Onishi-sensei has ever had.
Hey, everyone, Akino Roza here. And now over to you, Chris.
C: Chris McVay here. Roza, sorry, what did you say?
R: I said, "over to you," Chris.
C: Sorry. What did you say?
R: I said, "over to you!"
C: OK. Anyway, just practicing.

(4:25)
R: Well, guys, we are sure glad you found our program. If you would like an extra helping of English practice, however, I'll recommend the textbook.

(14:13)
C: Hey, Hiroto, have you got a minute? I need to talk.
O: Sorry, what did you say?
C: I said, "Have you got a minute? I need to talk."
O: Sorry, what did you say?
C: I said, "Have you got a minute? I need to talk."
O: He he... I'm practicing.
R: Sorry, what did you say?
O: I'm practicing.

R: Um... Sorry, what did you say?
O: Goisu. (すごいの逆読み)
R: Hey, everyone, Akino Roza here. Ready for today's lesson?
C: Chris McVay here. Once again, do your very best. And we'll do our best too.

(3:55)
O: lead の複数形 leads これは、手掛かりという意味です
C: Yeah, this is an interesting word because it refers to information, which puts you on the right path, therefore, leads you to whatever you want to go. Catching a criminal in this case.

(8:54)
R: OK, guys, so, for the practice here, all you have to do is concentrate on the position of the gap. The gap is in the subject position of "is behind all this." So, who is targeting that gap? Got it? OK. So, let's practice together. Here we go.
"Who do you think is behind all this?"
(9:19)
"Who do you think is behind all this?"
(9:26)
OK, one last time. "Who do you think is behind all this?"
(9:34)
Great!

(14:34)
C: Hey, guys, let's go out to eat tonight. What do you think would be good for dinner?
R: It depends. Which restaurant do you think is the one to choose?
O: Shi-su. (「すし」を後ろから言った?)

R: Hey, guys, it's the day you've been waiting for. We're having the review. Akino Roza here.
C: Chris McVay here. Let’s get going with this review.

(14:16)
R: So, guys, please describe your Miss. Right. Chris?
C: Umm... My Miss. Right would be independent, have a good sense of humor and tons of patience because you need to be patient to live with me.
R: What about you, Sensei?
O: Yeah, anybody is OK as long as she doesn't complain about my weight.
