K: The female student と書いてよろしいですか？
C: Yeah, I think so. I mean, you could say "a female student," but in this situation, we're talking about something that we know everybody is already aware of.
K: Our listeners and ...
C: Yeah, listeners, me, you, Jeff, everybody.
K: Yeah.
C: So, we can use "the" here to write about it.
K: Uh-huh.
C: So, I would recommend writing "the female student."
C: Do you want me to be kind and say what the whole phrase is in English?
K: Yeah, sure.
C: The female student asks the male student how 何々.
◆ 彼女は彼に、……と伝えます。
J: Uh-huh. We're going to use "tells" or "tell." "She tells him," or "She tells him that ...." Like we said before, you can use "says to him." Uh... It's not incorrect, but it's a little bit unnatural, so, let's use "tell" again here. "She tells him 何々," "She tells him that 何々."

C: Yeah, because it's unlucky to say "Good luck" before a performance.
J: Before a performance, before a concert, before a presentation...
C: Oh, anything ... a play.
J: Stage play, yes.
J: But I would never say it in an athletic.
C: Oh, no.
K: Yeah, when you go skiing, you don't want people say "break a leg," man.
J: No.
K: Break a leg.
J: Or when you about go on a basketball court or something. You wouldn't say that.
