◆ 引っ越し用トラック
K: 引っ越しは moving でよろしいですか?
Y: That's right. So, it would be called "a moving track."
Y: Now, be careful, "moving (ムー[ヴィ]ング) track" would mean a track that is moving. So, be careful not to make the mistake of saying "moving (ムー[ヴィ]ング) track." The right expression for what we are talking about is "moving ([ム]ーヴィング) track."

(ストレスの位置が違います)

◆ 引っ越し用トラックに……を積みます
Y: OK, so, if you know the word "load," then the rest is easy, "load 何々 into a moving track." So, in this case, it would be "load one last box into the moving track."

◆ いろいろ手伝ってくれた隣人のババさんに感謝します
K: How would you do that in English? Uh... Jeff?
J: Right. So, there's two ways of saying this. Uh... you want to thank or they want to thank the person, so, it would be "thank" and then "Baba-san" and then you would put a comma, their neighbor. You want to know who he is. So, thank Baba-san, (comma) their neighbor, (comma), and then "for everything."

J: The other way is you put their neighbor first, so, "thank their neighbor, (comma) Baba-san, (comma) and then "for everything."

J: So, either way is fine.

****

J: I think they did.
Y: Uh-huh.
J: I'm pretty sure they did.
Y: Yeah.
K: If you think so.
J: Well done!
K: Oh, I'm sure they did.
J: Nice.
K: All right.
