Well, the story goes that American sailors drifted to the shore after their ship wrecked and lived here teaching English conversation to the villagers.
That’s interesting. What happened to the villagers who learned English from them?
Good question. One of the villagers’ great, great, great grandson is teaching English on NHK radio.
