◆ クリスマスギフトの買い物を済ませたところです
J: Well, you want to add the word "just."

Y: All right. You can explain this like in two ways using "for" or leaving the for out.

Y: It goes this way, "What she got for him," or "What she got him," without "for." These are both in the dialog.

J: Yes. This can be a direct translation from the Japanese. が = but もちろん = of course
In this case, it would be "but, of course, she is not telling."
