==========
Write It!
==========
◆ 新居
K: home というのはどうですか?New home…
Y: Oh, that's a great word. "Home" has the feeling of warmth like "home sweet home," your dear place that you're gonna live in.
Y: Oh, sure. There's a useful expression, you can say "place," "new place."
Y: Yeah, you can use it in a wide variety of way, like, it can mean an apartment, not just a house. It can mean a studio, all sorts of places.

◆ ……に着いています
J: Well, yes, in English, you could either use the present tense, which would be .... they are at their new place.
K: Ah, okay.
J: They are there.
K: Uh-huh.
J: But you can also say "they reached their new place some time ago, and they're still there."
K: Yeah, they are there.
J: Right. So, you can put the past and the present together, and actually get a little bit closer to the Japanese. So, you can use "they have reached their new place," or "they have reached their new home."

◆ 痛みがひとすぎて作業ができない
Y: Yeah, let's use the pattern "too 何々 to do something." So, in this case, it would be "It hurts too much to work."

◆ ……することにします
J: Oh, we are going to use the word "decide." So, "they decide to 何々," or "They decide to do something."
K: OK.

*******

J: I know they did.
Y: I know. Yeah.
J: They always do. Way to go.

Before We Move On!
==================
K: Two small wrestlers, they're not small but they're big.

M: Coming through.
R: That refrigerator looks heavy. Can I help you?
M: Sure. Can you move that chest of drawers out of the way?
R: Ow!
M: Oh, you okay?
R: I jammed my finger.
M: Which finger?
R: My pinky.
M: Can you move it?
R: Yeah, a little bit. But ... yeah.
M: Whew! Time to take a break.

K: Which finger did you jam, Osumo-san?
R: Oh, my pinky.
K: Is that a little finger?
R: Yes, that's right, the one at the far end, a little one.
M: The little finger.
