C: Well, if we translated it directly...
K: Yes....
C: It would be "intention," right? "Having the intention," or "intended to do something."
K: Yeah, un-huh.
C: .... which is not incorrect. It's fine. We can say "someone intends to do 何々," but here, I would recommend using "be going to."
K: Uh-huh.
C: ... doesn't sound formal and sounds a little bit more natural in this situation.
K: I see. "This afternoon, I have the intention of going to a supermarket."
C: Yes, which is correct. But... it sounds a little bit, better to say, "This afternoon, I'm going to."
K: ... going to go to the supermarket or something.
C: Yeah.

C: I think if you used it, you would need a lot of context around it. To just say "I shot him." It's... it's not the most clearest expression to use.

J: I think most people would probably prefer "picture" as conversational.

C: I would say, "Oh, take a pic."
K: Uh-huh.
C: You know, I think it's okay we'd say in that context. "Oh, take my pic."
J: Really?
C: Yeah, I would say that.
J: No. No, I've never said that. "I've texted it."
C: Yeah.
J: But I've never actually said it in conversation.
C: Oh, I guess maybe text speak.
C: Yeah, that's right. It's not something I would say.
J: I have a lot of pics to show you.
K: Did you get it? Is this okay?
C: That's one I use a lot.
