J: I did. And it sounds really yummy.
K: Oh! Let's hear it.
J: The South Shore Pie Bake-off.
C: Well the announcement says that it’s that time of the year. So, it sounds like it's a regular event.
J: Every year.
K: I see. Yeah, I… I heard "the annual pie bake-off." So, it must be held every year.
C: Yap.

J: All right, on the question 2: When does this event take place?
Ken, did you happen to catch the answer?
K: Oh, me?
J: Yes.
K: I didn't see it coming. But ... yeah, I think I got the answer.
J: All right.
K: Well, this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
J: Exactly.
K: Yeah.

J: Well, who can participate? Right.
C: It's open to aspiring bakers of all ages.
K: 持ってくるものは、どうでしょうねえ？
J: Well, contestants must bring two identical pies, one for the judges and one for general consumption.
K: What kind of pies.
C: Well, it's a little strict. Each pie must be made form scratch, right? And there was a special requirement that she added. Did you catch it.
J: Oh, yes. No store bought crust allowed.

C: Oh, I got this one.
K: You did.
C: One hundred dollars.
K: Oh, not bad.
J: Yeah. And the second prize is $50 (fifty dollars).
K: Uh-huh.
J: And the third prize is $25 (twenty-five dollars).
