K: Jeff, are you ready five times in one breath?
J: Uh... It's me?
K: Yeah.
J: What a surprise.
K: Oh, well.
J: Yes, I'm ready.
K: OK. I wanted to hear that.
J: OK.
K: Let's hear it.

All: No surprise. You did so well.

K: Well, how about No. 1, Jeff?
J: Well, my answer No. 1; "Noah spoked to Emma." Hmm... I have my doubts about this, because he's basically started a new life. Uh..., Carolyn, how about you?
C: Well, here's No. 2 again. "Noah started working for a company." Hmm... It might be possible. What about No. 3, Ken?
K: Well, my candidate, "Noah and Emma started over." This is out of the question.
They didn't.
J: No.
K: So...
All: The right answer is No. 2. "Noah started working for a company."

J: Good job.
C: Great work.

Write it!

K: Carolyn-san, どうですか? First part of the sentence.
C: Yeah, I totally agree. Let's use the past tense here for the first part of the sentence. And we can actually use "Emma moved on" as is.

K: And Jeff, what about the second half of the sentence?
J: Well, this one is in the present tense. And "has" is a good verb to use. So, it's going to be something like "Noah has no regrets."

C: Of course.
J: I believe they did.
K: All right.
C: Of course, nice work.
J: Way to go!
K: All right.

J: Well, that was a nice ending. I loved it.
C: Me too. But I never saw it coming. How about you, Ken?
K: Never saw it coming, either. What a surprise!
J: Well, all’s well
All: ... that ends well.

J: This is the end of section 1 of this book.
C: Look (book) forward to section 2, everybody.
J: Ugh… I knew that was coming. I saw that coming.
K: It hurts.
