C: Well, it's not wrong, but it sounds to me when you use it like that, you're pitting one member of the team against the group.

C: The BZB project hasn't started yet and the boss tells a team member to have a man-to-man talk with his partner.

M: Well, it's Elton. I've told him time and again to take his time, but he claims he's not too busy.
B: That's interesting. I heard the same thing about you.
M: You did?
B: You two need to have a man-to-man talk and stop the ball from rolling.
M: Right.
B: Remember, keep it slow.
M: Right.
K: Well, that sounds like a great company.
J: Right.
K: Well, (it) seems like they're always having a sloth-to-sloth conversation.

C: And don't forget to add "her" in there because we want to say who is being called.

V: Yeah, Belladonna. I had a migraine, but I'm up and about now.
B: I see.
V: Are you still at work?
B: Yes. I'm just finishing up. What are you doing?
V: Oh, this and that, but mainly my experiment.
(experiment = a test done in order to learn something or to discover if something works or is true)
B: Victor Frankenstein. You're not supposed to be working at home.
V: Yeah. Don't tell anybody, Belladonna.
B: My lips are sealed.
M: So are mine.
V: Oh, he's up. Excuse me, Belladonna. See you tomorrow.
K: What is going on there?
J: I'm not sure.
K: They're all sort of laboratory materials, those people or things, I don't know. Yeah, that monster is definitely up and about now.
C: Sounds like it.
J: Yes, he is.
