Yes, you can use those two, if you want. But it's much more natural and conversational to simply use "they."

Well, I recommend doing it one of these two ways.

The first way, we can start with the word "both." So it'll be "Both of them were late." And for the second way, we can put the word "both" after the be-verb. So in that case, it'll be "They were both late.”

Right. This was not in the dialog. So we would use the phrase "didn't miss each other."

Well, directly translate it that's what would be in the Japanese. But that could also imply or could mean that she is living some place, but maybe going to move next year or she is not happy with that situation.
So, we say the simple, "She lives in どこどこ." This doesn't imply anything but the fact. So "She lives in どこどこ."
★ 彼女は……と申し出ます
Yeah, that's right. It wasn't in the dialog. I'd suggest using the verb "offer" here. So it'll be, "She offers to 何々." And this is a handy pattern to use when you want to report what's happened.
